Is Your Samsung Washer Showing an Error Code?

Samsung washing machines are packed with tech, but even the best ones hit a snag. If your washer is flashing a code or acting up, here are the most common issues we fix every day in West Los Angeles and the Valley:

1. The Dreaded 4C (or 4E) Code 

The Problem: Your washer isn’t getting enough water.
The Cause: Usually a kinked hose, a clogged inlet filter, or a faulty water valve.
Pro Tip: Check if your faucets are fully open! If they are, you might need a valve replacement.

2. The DC (or UE) Unbalanced Load 

The Problem: The drum won’t spin, or it’s banging against the sides.
The Cause: Often it’s just too many heavy towels on one side. But if it happens every time, your suspension rods are likely worn out and need replacing.

3. SUD (or 5UD) - Too Many Bubbles! 

The Problem: The machine stops because of excessive foam.
The Cause: Using non-HE detergent or just too much of it.
Note: If this happens with NO soap, your drain pump filter is probably clogged and needs a deep clean.

4. 5C (or 5E) Drain Issues

The Problem: Water is sitting at the bottom of the drum.
The Cause: A blocked drain hose or a failed drain pump motor.
